Welcome to Counters & More, Inc.

By using our website and services, you agree to these terms. We've kept them straightforward - no lawyer-speak marathons.

1. Who we are

Counters & More, Inc. is an Ohio corporation located at 38287 Willoughby Pkwy, Willoughby, OH 44094. We've been family-owned and operated since 1975, specializing in custom countertops, cabinetry, and installation. Our materials include natural stone (granite, marble, quartzite, soapstone), engineered stone (quartz), solid surface (Corian), laminate and Formica, and custom cabinets.

2. Estimates and quotes

  • Estimates provided via website, phone, text, or email are preliminary until we can measure in person.

  • Written quotes are valid for 30 days from date of issue.

  • Final pricing is based on actual measurements and material selection at time of templating.

  • Material pricing may vary based on availability - stone is a natural product, and we source from various suppliers.

3. Deposits and payment

  • We typically collect half (50%) of the total project cost at time of template.

  • This deposit secures your material and reserves fabrication/installation time.

  • Balance is due upon completion of installation.

  • We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.

  • Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee plus any bank charges.

4. Templating and installation

  • Templating requires access to your space and cabinets in final position.

  • Sinks, faucets, cooktops, and appliances must be on-site for templating.

  • Homeowner is responsible for removing existing countertops unless specifically included in quote.

  • Homeowner is responsible for reconnecting plumbing and electrical after installation unless specifically included.

  • Installation timelines are estimates - stone and custom materials are subject to lead times that can vary.

5. Warranty

  • Our workmanship is warrantied for one (1) year from installation date.

  • Manufacturer warranties on materials (quartz, granite, cabinets, laminate, etc.) are provided separately by the manufacturer.

  • Natural stone characteristics (veining, pitting, color variation) are not defects.

  • Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, harsh chemicals, extreme heat, impact, or normal wear.

6. Website use

  • Information on this website is for general purposes.

  • We reserve the right to update pricing, availability, and content at any time.

  • Photos of completed work may show custom projects that require similar (not identical) fabrication.

7. Limitation of liability

Counters & More, Inc.'s maximum liability on any project is limited to the amount paid by the customer for that project. We are not liable for consequential or incidental damages.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any disputes will be resolved in Lake County, Ohio courts.
